Material

The wooden handle is handcrafted with natural beechwood, known for its antibacterial properties and excellent stability. It’s resistant to mold, warping, and cracking. Protected with natural beeswax. Uncoated and eco-friendly, no paint or lacquer used. Smooth to the touch and safe for your health. 

Both the spoon and fork heads are made from food-grade 304 stainless steel.

Care

Since the surface is treated only with natural beeswax, some roughness may appear after the first few washes. You can gently condition the wood with edible household oils such as olive oil. Wipe dry with a clean cloth after oiling.

• Safe to use in UV sterilizer cabinets
• Avoid prolonged soaking in water
• Occasional sun drying is fine, but avoid strong direct sunlight

Meet the maker: Miaoyou

Miaoyou is the founder of the Tangshang Swallow Wood Studio. Influenced by his grandfather,  a master woodworker, Miaoyou began studying traditional Chinese woodworking techniques at a young age. In 2018, he established his own independent workshop.

Miaoyou resists the rush of mass production, and invites a slower, more intentional way of living. His creations blends natural elements and traditions into modern life, crafting everyday objects that are practical, beautiful and lasting.
