Meet Jue Huang, a coffee lover turned mug designer
This cup is designed by artisan Jue Huang, a passionate coffee drinker and skilled maker, in Jingdezhen, China, a town known for its ceramic artistry for over a thousand years.
Instead of sticking to factory-made molds, Jue rethinks what a coffee cup can be. He considers every detail — how it feels in your hand, how the rim guides the sip, how the shape holds aroma, and even how the inner curve helps you pour the perfect latte art.
His mugs are beloved by coffee shops and used in coffee competitions.
Jue also has a sharp eye for color. Each gradient is inspired by nature, such as morning skies, bamboo groves, summer lotuses, and spray-glazed by hand in his studio, making every piece one of a kind.
